Today, I went to PUP (again) to consult something to my former humanities professor Sir Justin Nicolas. It was about my report on "Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs" because we happen to have discussed this in his class before and I really liked how he presented this topic that's why I wanted to talk to him about it so I could garner more ideas that'll improve my presentation of my report to my graduate class on August 11, 2007. Unfortunately, I've no luck of finding his whereabouts whatsoever. I know I'm guilty of not trying my best to find him but I just don't know where to look for him if he's not gonna be in the College of Arts's Faculty Room. What I just did instead was I roamed around the campus for a bit and took some pictures again. There's another development that surprised me there which was the "Freedom Park" on the ground in front of the Main Building's North Wing facade. The park is a tribute to our late President Nemencio Prudente and there stood the newly-transfered campus flag pole as well. It was nice but I still prefer the fountains that's there before.

"PUP Freedom Park"
What's more surprising for me is the sight those freshly-demolished houses of railway dwellers just outside our campus. I didn't feel bad for them for it's actually a good news for us PUPians because we are often victimized by them hooligans that's living there for years and years and years. Hopefully petty crime incidents will be lessened and PUP will definitely be a safer campus now that they're gone.

"I hope this is gonna be for good.."
After a very nostalgic walk along Teresa street, I finally reached the jeepney drop point, made one to stop, rode on it and there happens the interesting part of my day (sorta). As soon as I sat down inside, I saw this half-an-inch-sized, ant-like that's crawling on top of my mailman bag. I'm dumb clueless on how the tiny fella made its way there and it totally freaked me out for I so hate crawling insects! That crawling feeling really gives me the ultimate creeps! The black insect is way too large for it to be an ant although it really looked like one. What's creepier about this insect is its shiny exoskeleton and its bulky abdominal registers. I repeatedly tried and was successful in dusting it off away from my bag. The FEU lady (a kolehiyala from FEU) that's seating right across with her boyfriend saw my frightened face while doing that motion gave me a sly smile for which I smiled back. I thought that creepy insect was gone for good when I flicked it with my fingers but then the trajectory made it land to a guys shirt who sits beside me. I immediately called the attention of the old guy for it was evidently my fault that it got into him. I'm a bit hysterical (I'm really making a "jeepney scene" there) during the time that the guy can't seem to see and remove the foul insect that's crawling from his shirt now, but after some attempts he finally was able to shoo the poor insect for good. I tell you, the absence of that crawling creep really put me back in my comfortable mood. Wheew (*dabbing my sweaty forehead in relief*). Haha pretty much, that little insect thingy made me post what happened to me this day.
I didn't ride another jeepney but instead, I did it the old-school way which is a "banca trip". I used to have a lot these during my college heydays and it brings back those darn memories. Riding a banca to cross me to the other side of the river is always an adventure to do.

"Another Pasig River shot.."

"Banca ride = FUN!"
Tomorrow will be the Bloggers Eyeball for Ms. Janette Toral's writing project. I have confirmed my attendance but I'm afraid I'll just drop by there real quick. I'll be attending birthday partee of my friend at the BSA Mansion on the same time so I'm gonna be with my friends. I'm excited to see more well-known bloggers tomorrow and I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna be in my introverted mode again. Oh, there'll be a draw tomorrow too wherein a $100's at stake for ten lucky bloggers but heck I doubt it if I win. I'm soo bad in raffle draws. I've NEVER won any raffle ever in my entire existence!
The first week of August marks as my job-hunting period too. I've been unemployed for 2 sweet months now. Goodluck to me! :P
See you guys tomorrow. Chao for now!

My cousin studies in PUP, but I don't think you know him since you've already graduated.
I wonder what insect decided to crawl up your bag and hitch a ride with you. Thank goodness it didn't bite you. In proportion to its size, that would have been painful! hehe!
And finally, I think the banca ride across pasig river seems awkward. hehe! Maybe because I've ridden a banca only twice in my life! :)
