Nope, this ain't about getting fit or anything and it definitely has nothing to do with skin tones either.
It's actually about me, toning down with the words that I'm gonna use in writing my entries. No more 'fucks', 'shits' (ooops this is gonna be the last promise! hahaha) and other curses or swears from now on. I wanted to make my site more mature and in a sense, more reader-friendly. It is also, in a way, a preparation of me in becoming a teacher for I'll be posting Education-related posts, weeks from now. I want my future students to not have a negative impression of my blog (or to be adversely-influenced, to that effect) for I'll be asking them to go here and share their thoughts with me. I wanted to be a good 'mature' example for them and I think, being prim and proper is a good starting point. I know this may sound conforming but maturity for me, is a display of elegance in talking/writing and bearing a composed self under heavy circumstances and so, I wanted to start it from here.
I'm currently reading a lot of interesting articles from various EdBlogs (Education Blogs) and Teacher's blogs and they're kind of pushing me to have that initiative of putting up my own Education-themed blog. I initially thought of creating a separate space for that because I think my own turf here is too cluttered already. But then, I'm too busy at the time being, so that's not gonna materialize any time soon. Well, at least not for now.
You're prolly might be thinking by now, what about the comments that contains profane words? Am I gonna filter them 'nasty' ones? Well, be thankful for my simple and 'just' answer is no. I mean, comments will still freely flow here just as it was before and always be.
To fellow blogger-teachers and soon-to-be teachers alike, I thought you might find this site really helpful: www.PROGRESSIVEU.org. You'll find loads of write-ups there concerning some important issues regarding Education being raised (mostly by students) for discussion. They even have forums there that talks about equally-relevant issues concerning Education and its impact to the society as a whole. I also want to ask a favor (to blogger-teachers and soon-to-be teachers out there) if we could link each other out. Please drop me a line to those who wants to exchange links with me. Let's use our blogs to share ideas. ^_^
*PS.
By the way, there'll be another blog event which I think will be of great interest to those teachers/educators/educationists who blogs. It's the Bloggers' Kapihan 2.0: Blog Ed 101 seminar. In brief, it's about how you could use Blogging as a medium for instruction. The gathering will also feature some professional insights on DepEd's proposed Cyber Education Program. If you want to know more about it, please, please go here. To those who wanna join and participate just place a comment to this LINK.

Welcome back!
I'm planning to focus my blog towards education as well... when I become a full-fledged teacher ... *crosses fingers*
I've started to avoid swearing in my own blog as well. :D
